Job Description
You will be responsible for designing and developing user interface and UI framework for SIP,/ BIQ or related products.
You will be responsible for transforming the UI/UX designs to the products integrating with front end and back end
You must be able to participate in discussions with the UX team in identifying right user interface controls and interactions as well as evaluate and identify right technology choice based on the requirements.
You will work with software architects to validate the provided feedback on the server API.
This role requires someone who will be able to mentor other junior-mid level team members
Enforce best practices in software development.
Desire Profile
5+ years" experience developing client-side UIs for consumer facing web applications
Enforce best practices in software development.
Expert level understanding of object oriented and asynchronous JavaScript development
Expert level understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, jQueryUI, JSON, EXT JS
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, REST, , HTTP, SSL
Solid experience with cross-browser development and debugging including IE 7/8, intimate knowledge of available debug tools including Firebug
Good understanding of performance optimization at the network and JavaScript levels
Ability to produce clean, concise, well documented, test-driven code
Experience working in web 2.0
Experience in Liferay, JNode, Node.js, Dojo other UI framework is a plus (good to have)
