Job Title: Sr. Associate
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 3-7 years
Role Description:
This position is for a senior developer for the Mutual Funds user facing applications.
The candidate should be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision.
The candidate must have strong technical skills and a good understanding of a broad range of technologies. He or she should have at least 5 years of distributed application development experience in financial services, preferably in Wealth Management.
At least 5 years experience, preferably in Financial Services or Banking IT
- Significant experience developing applications under an onshore-offshore model
- Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team
- Capable of effectively meeting time-sensitive deliverables with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
- Good time management skills? ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
- Strong Analytical and Communication skills
- Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to interface with staff at all levels Technology, Business and Operations
- Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them positively and constructively while promoting this approach to other team members.
- Ability to set an example for team members in the following manner: hard work, a focus on client delivery, preparedness, organization, a positive attitude and respect for others.
JD:
Must have a thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures and a solid grounding in object oriented analysis and design.
Must be able to document existing systems by performing source code analysis.
C#, ASP.NET, WCF, .Net web services, XML.
Ability to interpret business requirements and produce 3-tier architectures/object oriented designs. Ability to produce Functional and Technical Design documents.
Responsibilty:
5 years experience performing design, technical analysis and construction of web, web portal or web integration solutions
5 years experience using .Net technologies with an emphasis on C#, ASP.Net, WCF and .Net Web Services.
5 years experience creating/consuming web services, XML, data in relational database environments (preferably DB2, SQL)
Experience with user interface development (design, Web Forms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT
