Job Profile
We are looking for a highly talented Release Manager in Bangalore. The Release Manager will organize, direct and manage activities for building and maintaining software releases for their promotion to the production environment. You will be part of an international IT team and if you enjoy thinking creatively about how to use technology to solve business problems and enjoy working in a fast-paced, small team environment, this could be the job for you!
The successful candidate:
* 3+ years experience in software release management for the Microsoft stack
* 3+ years experience in .NET and Microsoft SQL Server
* Can own the release management lifecycle including scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across the enterprise for multiple applications
* Work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments
* Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and they meet or exceed expectations
* Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
* Communicate release details and schedules to the business as required
* Research new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies
* Must be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
* Has a true passion for excellence in his/her work, is highly organized, detailed-oriented, thorough, and follows through on commitments
* Very good/excellent English level, both speaking and listening
